Lip Setpoint


Many years ago a trumpet player named Mendez stated that if a player could play a scale from Low G to G above High C and back in one breath, then that player would be doing something that 99.9% of all players could NOT.


Is it REALLY that hard to do?


Well, it depends on HOW you attempt to do it. 

This idea is valuable for ALL players.  It compresses the range and makes it take less work to play the same thing.  That increases your usable range and endurance.
